It has been an adjustment as we have transitioned back into city life the last several years. There are many reasons behind our move back to town from what we thought would be our forever home in Kellyville. It was a time of change for many as Covid helped many families investigate what it really was that they wanted to pursue and spend their time on. Many chose to move from the city to the country, change churches, start a new job, or try that thing they had been putting off for so long. This has been a time of growth and change for our family as well. We did two of those as we moved back to the city and changed churches.

When we moved to Kellyville, we thought that we would be there until we grew old and our children might even want to build homes on our property eventually.

We have definitely doubled down on the running aspect of our lives as the support of our Jenks America Track club family and many other friends like Tim from Fleet Feet and Kathy from Runners World and of course April have made more road and trail races possible for all the kids. The difference between what our lifestyle was on the ranch in Kellyville and Tulsa is quite stark. We said goodbye to many animals and now can't raise beef or pork. However, I see much growth and maturity in the kids and also in Drew and I. Of course, accessibility to Turkey Mountain continues to be a blessing in our life as well. I'm excited to see what God has in store for us!
